“South Asian” is a broad term that includes folks with heritage in countries including (but not limited to) India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Tibet. We also recognize that throughout history, South Asian families have been relocated across the globe, and we welcome people of Indo-Caribbean, Indo-European, and Indo-African heritage, as well as other South Asian diaspora with roots in places such as Fiji, Mauritius, and Malaysia.
