The Toronto Rape Crisis Centre/Multicultural Women Against Rape (TRCC/MWAR) is a non-profit feminist organization committed to fighting violence against women and children.

We are a feminist grassroots community organization that believes in the equality of all people regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, spiritualities, gender and ability. As a Rape Crisis Centre we work both independently and together with other community organizations to provide inclusive support services for all survivors of sexual violence, sexual harassment, human trafficking and other forms of gender based violence.

The Centre operates on principles of mutual respect and anti-oppression. We believe survivors of sexual violence are experts in their own healing. Together we work toward creating a thriving community, empowering survivors of all races, classes, ages, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, and spiritualities.

Collectively, we provide nonjudgmental peer support to survivors of sexual violence and to work toward the eradication of violence against women of all ages. We can arrange translation for survivors who need it. Our space is wheel chair accessible, and we provide childcare reimbursement for survivors with children.
