Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness (CCAA)
Martin Kruze Memorial Fund. Free peer support programs: Time for Men, and the Help & Hope Project (facilitated by a qualified therapist). Referrals provided for other men services.
Child Development Institute
Children who have experienced sexual abuse or other interpersonal traumas (physical/emotional abuse or exposure to domestic violence). Children and youth from 4 to 18 years.
Christie/Ossington Neighborhood Centre (Men’s Hostel)
Overnight shelter, support and programming for homeless men.
Cornerstone Place
Men 25+ years. Nurse (twice a week), counsellor, housing worker. Dinner and breakfast available for overnight stays.
Dixon Hall-School House Hostel

Emergency shelter for women and children fleeing violence in their homes. Support, advocacy, individual and group counselling and recreation for children, follow-up, ongoing support after leaving shelter.
Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter
Women with or without children, no male children over 18 years, fleeing abusive situations. Counselling, advocacy, referrals, follow-up, court and immigration accompaniment, children’s program and counselling, legal and housing assistance, transitional housing and support program.
Evangeline Residence (Salvation Army)
Women experiencing homelessness due to mental health, addiction, domestic violence, financial difficulties, abuse, newly immigrating to Canada, and other challenges.
Florence Booth House (Salvation Army)
Women 16+ years of age, including refugees and victims of assault/human trafficking. Must be ambulatory.
Fred Victor Women’s 24/7 Drop-in Program
Provides necessities such as: food, rest, clothing, toiletries, hygiene products, and other items. Info about other Fred Victor programs, referrals to doctors, dentists, legal aid and other services, exercise, arts and crafts, other social recreational programming, access to senior’s services, laundry and shower facilities.

Support group program for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Female group: Tuesday 7-9pm. Male group: Wednesday 7-9pm
Gateway (Salvation Army)
Men and women 21+ years. 3 meals a day, shower and laundry facilities, computer access, and a library.
Gerstein Crisis Centre
Adults 16 years +. Individuals dealing with a serious mental health issue, concurrent or substance use issue, and are currently in crisis – Short term (3-5 days) crisis beds available, 24/7 crisis intervention line, mobile crisis team in South Central Toronto.

Women who are 18 years and under, pregnant or have a child are eligible for services.
