Ukrainian Canadian Social Services
For people of Ukrainian ethno-cultural backgrounds; Ukrainian Canadian. Counselling, info, referrals, interpretation/translation, form completion, advocacy (social, legal, health and pension systems), assistance with finding affordable housing and employment.
Unison Health & Community Services
All programs/services are free; no Ontario Health Insurance required. Primary health care, bloodwork, baby/child care, prenatal health teaching, and lifestyle counselling. Individual, family and couples counselling, advocacy, newcomer support, info, referral, crisis intervention, ongoing psychotherapeutic counselling, dental services (exams, x- rays, fillings, extractions, dentures, and cleaning).
Victim Services Toronto
Victim Crisis Response Program: 24/7 assistance in the immediate aftermath of crime or tragedy. High Risk Support Services: promotes individual’s/families’ safety who seem to be/are at high risk of experiencing violence by an intimate ex-partner. Community Crisis Response Programs: if a community disaster or crisis occurs, immediate support and resources will be provided to the individuals who are impacted. Victim Quick Response Program (VQRP): effective and compassionate support for victims/survivors in the immediate aftermath of a crime. Project Teens Ending Abusive Relationships (T.E.A.R.): education and prevention outreach program directed to youth 12 to 18 years (currently in middle/high school in the GTA), 60-90 minute presentation.

West Park Healthcare Centre
West Toronto Community Legal Services
Free legal services to low income residents of the geographical area (west Toronto). Deals with employment rights, immigration, pensions, poverty law, refugee claims, social assistance, tenant issues, and Employment Insurance (EI). Homeless Prevention Project: assistance with finding housing and filling out social housing applications, early intervention and mediation between tenants and landlords.
Women’s Care Clinic
Performed from 4 to 20 weeks gestation. Medical abortions, Dilation and Evacuation (D&E), Manual Vacuum Aspiration (MVA), counselling, laboratory and blood work, ultrasound, luminaria insertion, and analgesics.
Women’s College Hospital
Women’s Counselling, Referral & Education Centre
Free over the phone crisis support, supportive phone counselling (single session), in-house counselling (up to 16 weeks), referrals to community resources and therapists who charge on a sliding scale. Facilitator Training Program: women who would like to run a self-help group.

Women and their children who are fleeing violence – Individual and group counselling.
Women’s Health in Women’s Hands
Breast self-exam tutorials, STD info/treatment, pap smears, female genital mutilation and HIV/AIDS prevention advocacy support and care, mental and emotional health assessment, menopause counselling, family planning, sexuality counselling, abortion counselling/referral, pre-/post- natal care, reproductive health care. Clinical services: after hours, results, interpretation.
