Women’s Connection Program @ Roncesvalles & Queen Healthcare: anonymous HIV testing, free flu shot clinic. healthy child screenings, Saturday medical drop-in, asthma education, infant hearing program, chiropody, counselling and therapy (including anger management counselling), diabetes management program, naturopathy, psychiatry, physiotherapy.
Parkdale Community Legal Services
May assist assaulted women with court accompaniment, peace bonds, restraining order, injury compensation claims, and representation in cases where the alleged assailant counter charges. Deals with tenant issues, mental health, immigration, violence against women and children, refugee claims, social assistance, Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), workers’ rights, Employment Insurance (EI), human rights and police complaints. May provide representation.
Partner Assault Response Program (PAR) Polycultural Immigrant & Community Services
Immigrants, refugee claimants and convention refugees, permanent residents and first generation Canadians. Polish and Russian speaking offenders who are 18 years + ordered by court to attend the program in response to criminal charge involving domestic violence. 12 week group; education, counselling, non-abusive ways of resolving conflict. Victims/partners of offenders/survivors provided with support: safety planning, referrals to community resources, info on offender’s progress.

Progress Place
Community based organization that focuses on recovery for those living with mental illnesses, and provides members with holistic psychosocial rehabilitation through a comprehensive range of social, vocational, housing and rec. activities. Offers over the phone, peer support (Warm Line) for individuals 18 years + with mental illness living in the GTA, 7 days a week from 8pm to 12am. Double Recovery Program: for those living with mental illness who are also struggling with alcohol/drug problems, weekly group.
Recovery Counselling Services
Provides timely and professional outpatient alcohol/drug counselling to adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. Assessment, intervention training, and referral services.

24hr emergency housing. On-site medical assistance and referrals. Childcare.

Crisis counselling, support, childcare, referrals, housing support, and meals.
Redwood Shelter
Women 16 years + and their children fleeing violence. Emergency short term shelter, crisis intervention, counselling, and support for family, legal, housing, education and employment.
Rexdale Community Legal Clinic
Provides summary advice, legal info, and immigration and refugee claims advice. Deals with Employment Insurance (EI), workers’ compensation, pensions, tenant issues, and social assistance.
Rexdale Women’s Centre
Support for women and their children who have experienced or are experiencing of spousal abuse/violence in the home. Ethno-cultural services and programs for seniors – Violence prevention and crisis intervention. Language training and childminding (Suite 203).

Counselling for families, groups, crisis and assaulted women. Family violence education.
Scarborough Community Legal Services
Assistance for low income Scarborough residents who live east of Midland Ave. Deals with tenant issues, social assistance, pensions, Employment Insurance (EI), and subsidized housing. May provide representation, summary advice in domestic violence cases.
Scarborough Hope Centre
Men and women 25 years +. Hostel with space for 60 individuals. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available to residents.
Scarborough Hospital Mobile Crisis
Health Crisis Response Program. Individuals 16 years + experiencing mental health crises in Scarborough/East York. 24 hour phone, peer support and mentoring.
Scarborough Women’s Centre
Women dealing with abuse, making plans to leave abuse, or recovering from abuse and violence. Info and referrals, counselling, mentoring, educational programs, women with disabilities, young women’s outreach.

Men and women 18+ years. Children and youth 1.5 to 17 years.

The hotline is a toll-free, confidential resource for seniors suffering abuse, including financial, physical, sexual and mental abuse or neglect.
